Can I copy your map?

Our apologies but we are unable to grant permission for the use of map data from the Streetmap.co.uk web site.

If the map scale you are looking at is 1:2500 or 1:5000 and it is in London, then contact Collins Batholomew for permission (http://www.collinsbartholomew.com)

If the map scale you are looking at is 1:2500 and it is outside London or the scale is 1:25,000 or 1:50,000 , then contact Ordnance Survey for permission (http://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk)

If the map scale you are looking at is 1:100k or 1:200k then contact Collins Batholomew for permission (http://www.collinsbartholomew.com/)

If the map scale you are looking at is 1:5000 and it is outside London or the map scale is 1:500k or 1:1m then the data belongs to Open Streetmap (http://www.openstreetmap.org/about)

When I search for something, nothing appears or not all of the map tiles load or I only get a blue square!

In the first instance, you should try and clear the cache on your browser and try searching again (see http://pcsupport.about.com/od/browsers/f/clear-cache.htm for details on how to clear the cache for your browser).

When I search for a post code, the arrow is not on my house!

Post codes cover varying size areas. The location we have for a post code is roughly in the centre of the post code. The exception to this is post codes for post office boxes which will always show the location of the local postal depot.
If you believe that the location of your post code is incorrect, please contact Ordnance Survey who will be able to talk to you about postcode locations.

Do you provide printed maps?

Sorry, we do not provide a printed map service.

Do you provide directions?

Sorry, we do not provide a directions service.

Do you provide a mobile app version of Streetmap?

Sorry, we do not currently provide an app version of the web site.
